We use APA format as shown above for science. The author or authors should be listed by lastname and first intial:
Evans, M. (2016). But the example above shows how to do one when you cannot find the author. It is also acceptable to write the company and the word staff like this: Science Buddies Staff. (2014). You need 5 or more. These should be alphabetical by the author's last name (or company if there is no author) on your reference list at the end of your project. |
Citations |
Citations are used after a direct quote from one of your articles, usually in your background; sometimes in the results or conclusion. You need at least 5 of these: one from each article.
After the sentence being quoted, you place a citation. No quotation marks are needed anywhere. Example: This project requires finding the density of each substance. Density is found by dividing the mass of the substance by its volume (Evans, 2016). |
